J. Sparrow’s Bar and Grill at Noble House Mega Kuningan Jakarta

October 22nd, 2016. I heard about this new place from social media. Luxury place with elegant ambiance. When I got invitation for foodtasting, I was very happy. It’s time for me to try their food. J. Sparrow’s Bar and Grill.


When I stepped inside, I instantly loved the place. They have indoor and semi-outdoor area. It’s really comfy and feels at home. Yeah I know, I fall in love easily. That’s why I always came early. Trying to bond with the place in my own way. By the way, I asked Brian to come with me. And I was so happy that I met Cindy, Hiro, Susan and everybody else. Great talks, pals. 🙂

The Lobster

Pearl Lobster, Grilled Corn, Baked Potato, Grilled Vegetable, Lemon Butter Sauce

Are you craving for lobster? You should try this lobster. It’s like a lobster feast. So big. So delicious. So great. You will know how I feel when you come to the place and order this dish. It was a fantastic feeling, just to see the size of the lobster LOL. Amazing! And it tasted superb!


Prime Rib

U.S. Rib-Eye Lip On, Salt Dough, Yorkshire Pudding, Brussel Sprouts, Horseradish Cream, Beef Jus


Tuna Tartare

Fresh Yellowfin Tuna, Avocado, Tomato Cherry, Edible Flowers and Soy Sesame Dressing

I tried this tuna tartare, but I didn’t really fond of it. It’s delicious but I prefer the prawns. LOL. Maybe because it’s too small hahahaha.. Oh Yenny, you are so greedy, you didn’t wanna share!! I knew it hahahaha..



Chili Tomato, Curry or Garlic Cream Sauce

DELICIOUS! I really loved them. I think I ate a lot of them. Literally, a lot! The mussels were so juicy and tender. Not too chewy. My oh my, so delightful. The curry sauce was well-seasoned. One of the best mussels, I guess.


Crab Rissoto Fritter

Crab Meat, Cream Cheese, Parmesan and Spicy Aioli

It’s like croquette. Great for snack. Not too small, not too big. Love the rissoto texture. Addicting! I can imagine myself sitting at J. Sparrow, writing my blog, and snacking this fritter. Hihihi. Enjoying my life. 🙂


Soft Shell Crab Sandwich

Sesame Seed Bun, Deep Fried Soft Shell Crab, Coleslaw, Thousand Island, Potato Skin Fries

The soft shell crab was as crunchy as the potato skin fries. Fluffy sesame seed bun. Fresh coleslaw enhanced the flavour of the crab. One recommended dish.


Cajun Mud Crab

Fried Mud Crab, Cajun Spice, Grilled Corn, Beef and Veal Sausages, Grilled Pineapple, Cherry Tomato with Lemon Butter Sauce

Just remember that the best part to eat crab is to get so messy with your hands. The crab meat was soft and flavorful. I personally fell in love with the taste of it. Beyond compare!


Grilled Cajun Prawns

Sous Vide Tiger Prawns, Baked Garbanzo Beans, Peri-Peri Sauce, Grilled Pineapple, Coleslaw, Grilled Romaine and Cherry Tomato

Finger-licking delicious. Very scrumptious and crunchy to the max. The prawns was very juicy and flavourful. Help me! I couldn’t stop eating it. I was like zombie, craving for brains. Prawns! Prawns! Prawns! LOL.

Pineapple, peach, passion fruit, pomegranate syrup, peach sorbet

Watermelon, Lime, Oleo Saccharum, Mint Syrup, Sparkling Coconut Water


Carribean Beauty 125k

Ridiculously refreshing with a tingling long finish, this is a drink for Caribbean high class. Spiced rum is shaken with mango nectar, passion fruit and lime, then charged sparkling coconut water. Served with a dropping coconut gelato.


New York Sours 125k

This whiskey sour’s wine-soaked sister is the drink that belongs in every repertoire: balanced, handsome, good on its own and with food, complex but eminently sluggable. American whiskey is fleshed out with fresh lemon and smoothed over with a touch of oleo saccharum. Finished with a float of red wine on top.


J. Sparrow 125k

Anyone need any introduction? Gunpowder infused rum is shaken with gin, pimento dram, lime, and mint syrup. Refreshing as hell. A kind of drink you want to start your night with. Savvy?


Flying Dutchman 125k

Short, sharp, and floral, we love aviation. Subs the gin with the dutch genever, combined with citrus vodka, maraschino, gin syrup, fresh lemon and a touch of creme de violette, you have the dutch aviation. Yes, that Flying Dutchman.


Royal Bermuda Yacht Club 125k

Trader Vic’s Tiki-Fied version of the daiquiri; tweaking “The Holy Trinity of Caribbean Mixology” – rum, lime, and sugar with the exotic falernum and curacao as its sweetener. Garnished with an orcid on top of meringue head.


Lady Bonny 125k

Deliciously silky, our take on flip is based on the most famous woman in the history of piracy, Anne Bonny. A mixture of Irish whisky, spiced rum, stout reduction and orgeat, is shaken with egg and coconut milk to create a silky texture. An alcoholic dessert that is perfect as your post dinner libation.
